INTRODUCTION
The Town of Hartford, VT Parks and Recreation Department requests proposal for Portable Toilet Service at area parks and
for special events
.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
Proposal must be identify the service cost for pumping once per-week (Preferably on a Friday). Each unit to be equipped
with a hand sanitizer product that includes not less than 70% Ethyl Alcohol. Quotes must be sealed and received no later
than 2:00pm Friday, March 3rd, 2023. Cleaning services must comply with the VT Department of Health and CDC
Guidelines for portable toilet units in public spaces.
Park locations and number of units starting April 17th (weather permitting) through October 30th (subject to change upon
notification):

  • Lyman Point Park. 1 handicap unit placed near playground.
  • Kilowatt South Park. 1 handicap unit placed near parking lot and field building.
  • Kilowatt North Park. 1 regular unit near storage building.
  • Watson Park. 1 regular unit near dog park.
  • Ratcliffe Park. 1 regular unit, location to be determined.
  • Clifford Park. 1 regular unit, location to be determined.
  • Special event locations and number of units with delivery location TBD. (subject to change upon notification)
  • June 4th to August 13. Maxfield Outdoor Sports Complex – 2 regular units. Location TBD.
  • July 4th Independence Day Celebration. 8 regular units and 2 handicap unit to be located at Kilowatt South.
  • July 22nd. Hurricane Hill Trail Run. 2 regular units at the top of Reservoir Road. 2 regular unit near UVAC.
  • Other (one day) special events TBD. 1 to 4 units per-event.
