QUECHEE MAIN STREET CULVERT REPLACEMENT

The Town of Hartford (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

Quechee Main Street Culvert Replacement, Contract 2018-1
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Town Manager’s Office located at 171 Bridge Street, White River Junction, VT, until Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 2:00 PM local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

The Project includes the following Work: Replace an existing 5-foot diameter CMP culvert with a new 6’ high and 10’ wide precast concrete box culvert, including water main, sewer main and storm drain relocations, reconstruction of a stone masonry wall, and pavement restoration. The precast concrete culvert has already been purchased by the Owner and will be furnished to the Contractor.

Bids are requested for the following Contract: Quechee Main Street Culvert Replacement, Contract 2018-1.

The Project has an expected duration of 60 calendar days to substantial completion.

Prospective Bidders may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.

Bidding Documents may be purchased from the Issuing Office. Cost does include shipping charges. Upon Issuing Office’s receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder’s delivery service for a cost of $82. Electronic documents are available only to purchasers of Bidding Documents.

Bidding documents may be examined by appointment at the office of the Engineer, Dufresne Group, 56 Main Street, Suite 200, Springfield, VT, 802-674-2904 or chaskins@dufresnegroup.com.

A pre-bid conference will be held at 11:00AM local time on March 30, 2023 at the project site. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged, but not mandatory.
