NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT

The Vermont Air National Guard (VTANG) intends to award a Sole Source contract to Intellisense Systems, Inc., 21041 S Western AVE, Torrance, CA 90501-1727, for two Advanced Micro Weather Stations was components, see attached Sole Source Justification.

VTANG will use Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition.

The authority for soliciting a single source under simplified acquisition procedures is FAR 13.106-l(b)(l)(i), Soliciting Competition, which states that contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization).

This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotation. No solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit product information in response to this notice by 3:00 PM EDT, 3 Aug 23. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
